Images designed from the Bitcoin Genesis Block Code. The genesis block is the first block of a blockchain or timechain in the case of Bitcoin. The original Bitcoin genesis block had a message encoded into it by its creator, Satoshi Nakamoto.

From this data, the Orange Paper decided to create a desktop wallpaper and a mobile background. This is a popular and widely available set of data so we aren’t the first to do so. But we couldn’t find images that met our desires so we created a couple of more. We wanted a dark, low contrast version without the ancillary text usually found on current search engines. Also, the mobile version is just a capture of the note attached to the block. It is a historical phrase whispered and recorded at the inflection point of modern history and the beginning of the digital money revolution to come.
